Here’s a few pics and a vid of my freshly restored 1957 Lincoln Idealarc 300 AC/DC. Hot start (arc boost) and dig (special applications) are standard on the machine. 300 amps 100%, 375 amps 60%, 450 amps 35% at 220/460 volts. Just rewired the input with new 8/3 and has 4/0 for work and 1/0 for electrode with tweco clamp. Machine weighs 538 lbs and has multiple transformers and chokes. Everything works perfect and is currently being used for stick and scratch start Tig. Running argon from a period correct Meco flowmeter. By the use of the N/S switch it can be set into low amperage mode and ran from 30 to 80 amps.

This forum feature for YouTube doesn’t seem to work right but I’ll try it anyway.

I was expecting to see a car too. Nice work, I admire anyone with the patience to restore stuff.
