Anyone else get a letter from airgas ? I guess they bought out tech air in a way it's good I guess cause hopefully I can exchange any bottles there now on the down side airgas now owns everything and will be accepting diamonds gold bars and vital organs for payment ...I know everyone hates airgas but my local guy in central pa has always been very good to me he's an old timer who can barely move tanks anymore he even once gave me absolutely free of charge a full mc 10 somebody turned in but the prices have always been Penny's difference to tech air so we will see I have a c25 to exchange in the near future

It's Ma Bell all over again!

My LWS was bought a few years back by Magnegas, still getting good service and prices.

I keep the receipt handy from the last time I got a tank refilled lest I break weak and go near those[emoji2959]again. No way I’ll ever give another nickel to those thieving scum. It’s really too bad everyone doesn’t boycott this outfit. Maybe they would straighten up.

Ironically the Matheson here in town closed down and moved to a more industrial farming area. A local decided to buy the shop and is converting into a mom and pop LWS! Pretty happy about that.

The scumbags came here around 2000. We had a really great LWS that caught fire . In order to keep going the insurance would have been so high that they just retired and closed. That’s what I was told anyways.
Right after that in comes Airgas buys up the other regional and more or less took right over . Prices went sky high in short order and just kept going!
One thing for sure.
If you have that’s family owned and treats people well you owe it to yourself to do business with them. You’ll not know what you really had until they are gone.
