Have done very little welding. Now retired and need to weld on auto floor pans, misc. Some welders have that crisp zzzt, zzt. The don't stick and wondering if these are the 'pulse' type? I think mid range 200 series Miller and Lincoln. Miller is expensive but favored. Looking at the Hobart 140 and 190?

Thank you, L

If you want some very good practical information for just starting and deciding what to buy.

I think the series of welding videos from Askwoodman on YouTube is exceptional. When you find his channel go to the playlists section you will find the welding playlist. Watch the first few videos.

Good luck. Started mid life myself,

Kirk
