Anyone using the Arcone X540D filter?

I'm interested in any feedback on the Arcone X540D autodark filter. I'm considering replacing the existing filter in my Miller MP10 helmet or even just purchasing the Arcone Xtreme helmet with the x540d filter. Any users of this out there?
thanks,
jim

Well, this didn't really get any response, so...
What 4x5 auto dark filters are people using? I'm really looking for something that gets as close, in terms of clarity, to my passive Miller with a #10 Gold shade. Bonus if it's good for low amp TIG.
thanks!

well, for the sake of continuity, I thought I'd update this in case it proves useful...
I picked up an X540D, it's a drop-in 4 X 5 AD filter with grind and TIG modes. It's adjustable for delay and shades 10-11. I tested it while doing some backhand fillet and vertical up welds, and some butt joint welds on 1/8" steel. I'll have an opportunity to try TIG mode this weekend.
The good stuff: Light state clarity is really good with a different kind of amber cast. The controls are on the bottom of the filter, and are easy to use. It's solar powered, so no batteries to loose. The viewable area is pretty large for an ad filter. It's not much heavier than a glass #10.
The bad/indifferent: Well, the contrast between the weld pool and the arc isn't what I was hoping for, and the clarity of view of the surrounding work piece isn't what I hoped for either. Not that it's awful, but it's not really better than my Lowe's AD helmet. The lens will not work in the plastic filter holder of the MP-10, the controls are obscured. I put it in a cheap Hobart hood from TSC, which I actually like better than my Miller. Go figure.
I keep going back to my Gold #10 fixed shade. Any suggestions for an AD filter that come close to the clarity and visibility of the gold 10?
thanks,

Hey there,
I use a speedglas at work. I know they are as dear as all hell but I would buy one myself if i needed to, (work pays at the mo')
Try this link, its a pretty good rundown. However trying to find an auto darkening lens that is similar to a gold lens would be like trying to compare apples and oranges. Both nice but completely different.

I did see a lens once that was half auto darkening and half fixed and the two added up to a larger viewing area while welding. But that was a cheap as one.
Good luck.
