So I just got a new Mig 250 from Eastwood. I plugged it in and turned it on. fan turned on for like half a second then a big spark from inside the machine and it died. it also popped the fuse in my fusebox.after resetting the fuse it will turn on and run. haven't tried welding with it since the pop. Opened it up and it looks like two of the mosfets melted. ill attach pictures. I have a 3 way splitter I made on my cart (only have one machine on at a time) but I have plugged my lotos plasma cutter 80 and my prime weld 225 into the same socket and they run fine on full voltage. what would have cause these mosfets to melt? was it just a bad machine or something with my wiring? ill attach pictures. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Doesn't matter. Do not delay and call Eastwood and email them right away. Within the first 30 days, you can either get a replacement, and they will send you a prepaid tag for the busted one (if you ask nicely), or they can refund your money and they send you a prepaid tag. After the 30 days, you cannot ask for your money back. You should ask for your money back and get a more reliable machine. I had an Eastwood MIG 175, and it was decent but nothing like a newer inverter machine that's for sure.
