Have a multi process everlast welder that can do stick and mig. The stick process works fine but the mig doesn't. The mig gun will feed wire but it won't arc. I tried cleaning the metal and making sure the ground is connected. None of that works. It's wierd because the stick process works fine. Will you guys help me please

Can you have it serviced by warranty?

Assuming it did work before, just call Everlast, let's see if they have technical support on the weekend (LOL).

No the mig function never worked out of the box. so I don't know if it's a quick fix or If I should just send it back and get a new one

If it never worked new out of the box, why are you on here seeking support when you should be returning it to where it was purchased? New machines have a period of warranty. Some brands have much better warranty than others.

Don't do anything before talking to everlast. I've read stories where Everlast voided warranties because the user tried to fix things without their permission.

Not sure exactly what model you have but if you look at the manual for the one I pulled up on page 16 you’ll know what the different mega processes need to be plugged into a different ground terminal lug on the front of the welder have you tried all the ground terminal locations to see if you can get an arc.

I finally figured out what was wrong I was putting the work clamp in the positive. Me being so stupid I finally realized the ground supposed to go inside the negative. That's why it wasn't arcing

it should still work with it switched around. after all self shielded flux core works that way.
sounds like you may not have had the loose lead out the front not plugged in. that goes in positive (for bare wire) and ground goes in negative. swap that around for flux core.
just make sure nothing else is going on like a loose or poorly fitted connector, that does happen.
