What make and model machine would be a good all around truck mounted welder. I’m looking to buy used so no need to mention new models. I know diesel driven is more expensive and I also know this question is like asking what’s better Dodge, Chevy, or ford. I’ll answer that one for you...DODGE!!
Thanks in advance for the input.

Depends a lot on what processes are most important to you. Also consider the option of using a separate generator to run standard welder(s). That option is becoming a lot more cost efficient these days while also adding a lot of versatility.

Miller AirPak 200. Generator, welder and compressor in one. Bobcat, trailblazer are also good and plenty around used.
