My old 31 year old Hobart MIG blows breakers, shorted somewhere. Looking at the new multi-process machines. I'm a light fabricator/repair...side business. I have narrowed it down to the ESAB or Miller, same price. Need some advice, thanks.

Does a nice job pointing out the differences.

Having used both, I found the Miller to be a better machine.
With the ESAB, I would frequently get temperature faults, while TIG welding at low current thin material (on 220V), the fan is quite loud, and I found scrolling through the menu structure, to adjust parameters or change processes, to be time consuming and not super intuitive.
Whereas with the Miller, there are less fine tune adjustments but I found that everything I needed to do had nice defaults and "just works."
Caveat, I'm just a home hobbyist so YMMV...
