Magnet clamps

I have a bunch of those multi angle magnet clamps and some of them have lost some of their holding power. Is there any way to recharge a magnet? One suggestion i got from the internet was to line them up against a more powerful magnet to realign the electrons in the right way. It sorta worked, they did get a little bit of strength back, but not full strength.

Or is it just easier to put them in the scrap bin and buy new?

Usually, heat is what demagnetizes them.

I use them for little positioning/holding tacks, and get them out of the way before building bigger tacks.

As cheap as they are now from Harbor Freight and Northern Tool, why waste time?

two cents...
