headgear fix for Fibre-metal pipeliner

so I recently got a fibre-metal pipeliner because I learned on a auto darkening helmet and i want to get better with a standard hood. the headgear is all plastic and it's kind of a pain in the ass because it won't tighten up enough so that it doesn't fall down when i want it up. Do any of you know of another manufactures headgear that will fit in this helmet or do any of you have a fix for this problem?
Thanks !

Hey, Welcome!
I'm going to move your topic to "General Shop Talk", where you'll find far more answers. The "Instructions" sub-forum is more of a how-to to use features of the site.
Thanks,

I never cared for Fibre-metal's attachment method. Jackson is no better.
I replaced the cheesy plastic "bolts", etc, with 5/16 X 3/4 bolts, washers, and nylocks. A bit of tweaking to get the tension right, and my hood stays up when I want it up, and flips down neatly. Once set, it rarely requires a minor adjustment.
BTW, the choice of SS was because it was available at work and free.
The choice of nylocks is so it doesn't back off by itself every time I flip my hood.
