Certainly more posts than usual in the last few days - perhaps their " Weekend Warriors" who have migrated since their mentor has stopped uploading - I would try for a funny comment but just in case "Mr Tig" is ill or had some other misfortune I'll leave it - his intro with him doing the "truffle shuffle" drives me mad & the pause while he gets his gloves every time - but the guy has done some good video's. ( but obviously Jody's are the best ! )

Anyone notice that MRtig hardly ever shows his finished product? Not really handy for a learner.

Mr. Tig is a nice old guy who makes youtube vids that are long on talk and short on work.

As already mentioned, nice guy, but Jody really wipes the floor with him.

Yes - Jody's video's are way better - but in fairness to Wyatt he uploads something for free usually every Friday has provided useful info at times & he will answer questions from the video quickly - I had assumed most people on this forum would have watched something of his - I joked with Pete ( ChuckE2009's new mate Scheetiger77 ) that they'd scared him off with some of their comments !

Hey,

If funny when you sit and think about it, how many instructional video makers there are out there. I like Kevin Caron, hes a hell of a nice guy who pumps out a great amount of videos, with basic skills in mind.( Mr tig has done a couple of vids with him) Chuck E seems a little full on, he had zinc coating down as the deadliest substance known to man, but its all good. Another great one is the At home welder, he has great videos with really handy tips for fabrication.

Above all, IT HAS TO BE SAID, THESE GUYS TAKE THE TIME TO PUT SOMETHING TOGETHER FOR THE MASSES AND GIVE IT AWAY FOR FREE. AND FOR THAT, MY HAT IS OFF. GREAT WORK GUYS.

Mick

For every good welding video there is 10 crap ones.

I even saw one with a guy showing grinding skills, whose camera fell over. wait, that was me......
