Hey, my wife and I make horseshoe art and she has a herd of dairy goats and she has a bunch of friends that raise them that want milking stands made. It is a simple design and easy build but the only problem is we are trying to find a place to order metal in bulk instead of heading to the local hardware store to buy the little 4' pieces of strap and angle and the 2' by 2' pieces of expanded metal. We were wanting to know if anyone knew a metal distributor in or close to West Virginia, USA and for a reasonable price, after all we are poor college students. Please let me know.

Try your local scrapyard. You can buy metal a lot cheaper there but it will most likely need cleaned up a bit.
Go break something, then you can weld it back the right way.

Just a couple welders and a couple of big hammers and torches.

I will have to try, I am having my father in law try to order some through work, since he is a coal miner they use a good bit of expanded metal and he is going to try and order some there but I will try to get the angle and strap I need from a scrap yard or welding shop.
