Cool Tire Tools

I think that this idea is brilliant, but very expensive.
Now, if a fellow made something similar, would that be a patent violation?

The first tire tool is used for breaking the bead.
Reseating the bead is a non-issue with tubed tires.

The second tire tool mounts and dismounts the tire.

I can power it with my battery operated impact wrench from Ingersoll Rand.

Fantastic tool! The batteries last a long time between charges.

Nice find - I like the look of those tools - it's a hard job on some tires - if a guy was to be " inspired " by the concept & made something like it for himself - not to sell I don't think that would be a big patent issue - I actually saw a bead breaker very similar to this a long time ago so the principal is hardly new ( or rocket science ) - it's not like you bought one sent it to China & had a batch made to sell on Ebay ( but I bet someone will )

Pretty sure it's only a patent violation if you sell it or otherwise make money on it. Least in the States.

That is correct. Make it but don't sell it, advertise it or use it as a service to others. It also depends on how the patent is written.

One day at work I had to demount 30 some big truck tires by hand. I tried everything from the out riggers on one of the service rigs to a backhoe bucket. I finally got ticked off and took a torch to the steel rims, don't tell the boss  , he never found out. I wish I would have had these tools for sure.
