Hey people,
I really need help in joining a flux cored aluminum ball at the end of a simple stud.
These studs are used in Drawn arc stud welding method. A friend told me to make a hole of 2mm and add a small 1.9mm flux and hammer it into the stud. I tried this method but the finishing was not good.
Please help
Below is a sample from google

Hey, welcome, santura,

I can't give advice on that subject, but I can help...

You've posted this in our "instruction" section, about how to use post topics, pictures, videos and the like. I'll move your topic in to the "General shop talk" section, where people will read it, and hopefully offer you some experience.

Are you asking how you might be able to weld that ball on the end of the stud?

dear greintime,
Yes that's exactly what i need to know. I dont know the procedure whether the flux ball flux ball is welded of hammered or some other way to fix it. The picture shows the flux aluminum ball.
