I mean yeah it's possible man, but if* you're* asking, I don't know that I can recommend it. What kind of nicks are we talking about here?

Is this a beat up combustion chamber from a broken valve or something similar?

Not to speak too much but it seems as though it could be fixed, I've seen pictures of cat engine blocks fixed after they threw a leg out of bed. (Con rod out the side of the block) there are specialist repair companies that deal in cast iron repairs such as

Out of curiousity, is it a single turbo or an ACERT motor?

Google valve seat repair. Plus if its going to be scrapped why not have a go at fixing it. You might have a win. Or send it to Jody and pay him in beer to make a video of welding it up.

Mick,
He'd have to buy a lot of beer, and pay a lot of freight to ship out a head for a C15 cat, no matter the turbo configuration. It's 4ft long and probably 8-10 inches thick... C15's don't play haha. I'd hate to see how much freight would be to ship one of the C18 heads off one of the engines in the hydraulic cell at Jonathan's shop would cost.... yikes!!!!! Those make the C15's look tiny!!!!!

What, this little guy? It would only be a few bucks for shipping
