Wanting to know if it is worth spending the money on a advanced control panel for my machine

Yes, there are many benefits. You must weigh the cost against what you intend to use it for. I've been bugging my employer for advanced features for years, but since I pass my x-rays and all other NDT/NDE with basic equipment, it's a hard sell.

What do you intend to do that these features will help with, and how, exactly, do you think they will help?
