Received mine today and my initial opinion is it is really light big plus, second is the controls are back lit for easy viewing when making adjustments, comes standard with a grind mode big thumbs up the viewing area is large and very clear, the head gear is comfortable for me and what a really like, is the detent to help hold it up but is super easy to bring down for weld with no hands.
For a hood under $200 it is a awsome value

It looks like there are possibly a groove on each side for a magnifier.
Groove/channel each side for a magnifier?

Craig, duct tape works well in any hood if slots are missing.

Remember mechanics first ground rules:
Duct tape for everything loose that shouldnt.
WD40 for everything stuck that shouldnt
