I have a tip some may find useful on how to get a little more life out of your plastic clear welding lenses.
I recently acquired a mig welder and compared to tig or stick it messes up with my speedglas outer lenses a lot faster.
I had a special paste to polish the plastic crystal on some of my watches and figured I should give it a try.
Dirty outer lens:

WOW! I have been just throwing them out too. I heard that the paste for cleaning CDs works good too.
