Algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus?

I tend to use fractions if I'm measuring with a tape but I use decimals if accuracy is critical or I'm converting. Like volume to weight.

I tend to use basic algebra and trigonometry as needed, but 98% of the time simple addition and subtraction suit my needs. Trig is useful for pipe fitting, but since most of my work is repair I can "stovepipe" it with good results. Sometimes I'll do the math just for the mental exercise.
