I am trying to post a few vids here and there geared toward welding students in school

A good video. I will definitely be referring students to it. This position can be a pain because of bead contour and placement.

A note on the 2G position, For structural welders (D1.1) this position is not required to be tested in if a 3G/4G is performed. For ASME Sec IX, 2G/3G/4G is required.

Great job on what you have done for welding education.

Leave yourself a shelf for the first pass on your cap.

Makes it go in a lot smoother, without drooping.
