That was a very entertaining video.

That's some damn tough tape, for the finished product to fit with the tape replacing tacks in the fitup!

Very impressive.

I agree. How the fitup did not move in tacking is amazing.
I'd be interested to know the grade of tube and filler used. Maybe I wasn't paying enough attention.
My guess on the filler would be 5356.

I was most impressed with the polish of the tube, would be interested in knowing how S1 did that, although the photo doesn't really show the tube too close the finish looks very consistent and a very high polish. I first thought maybe it was electropolished, although I don't believe anyone local does that.

Thanks Jody.

I often find myself welding 1.6mm wall aluminium tube - sometimes of a considerably smaller diameter than that shown in the video - and I struggle a little with it.

There are some tips and settings in this video that I'm going to try out as soon as I can. Very timely video.

Just had to jump back in here and say that this might actually be the most useful video I've watched so far...and Jody has made some awesome videos.

I went out to the bench and put this into practise today and for me it was a huge leap forward. The settings used in this video work a treat for me and I am finally having success welding 1.6mm wall aluminium tube. I haven't had this level of success since I picked up 'the rule of 33' for pulse!

Can't thank Jody and Roy enough for this one.
