Thanks for a few stick videos. Most of us farm-type weldors don't do much else and the out of position stuff is a killer when welding infrequently and mainly for repairs.

TIG and MIG are left for the real pros IMO. Not really suited for outdoors in the wind while climbing under a tractor or implement. A little inverter with a generator is a job-saver at times.

Can't wait for the overhead video. Pock marks on the body are no fun!

Now that WTT / Jody has an extensive library of welding videos, has a consideration been made for producing a process-specific series of videos?

For example,

>a stick welding video disk

>a MIG video disk

>a TIG video disk

>an O/A disk

I don't buy the videos by date (year) because I have no use for the MIG and TIG areas.

Perhaps someone that is skilled at the other disciplines wants to learn TIG for example. He/she might be motivated to purchase a TIG disk.

The disks could be organized by technique. For stick, the chapters might be horizontal, uphill, overhead, 7018, 6011 (6010), and so forth. I'd buy such a disk.

That's an excellent suggestion.
