Hey everybody, as you may or may not have noticed, the site has been moved to https for a more secure browsing experience. Since this change has been made, the cookie that the forum uses to store your credentials has also been updated to the same standard. This means, however, that you may have to delete and recreate the cookie from your browser to login. Moving forward, if don't see the icon in the top left (the word "secure" in chrome, a lock icon in safari and firefox) then affix 'https://" to the url and reload the page. Here are directions for each browser to delete cookies. I've seen reports of the "log me in automatically each visit" feature not working, so I'll be working to resolve this. It is certainly an issue with the cookie, so again if you have trouble logging in go through these steps.
Delete a cookie in chrome:
On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, click More Settings.
At the bottom, click Advanced.
Under "Privacy and security," click Content settings.
Click Cookies.
Under "All cookies and site data," search for the website's name.
To the right of the site, click Remove .
Delete a cookie in Safari
Click safari drop-down menu
Then click preferences
Click the privacy tab
Under cookies, click details
Scroll to the forum.weldingtipsandtricks.com cookie and click remove
Delete a cookie in Firefox
Click the firefox menu
Click preferences
Click Privacy and Security
Scroll to cookies and click manage data
Find and remove the forum.weldingtipsandtricks.com cookie

"Log me in automatically" appears to be working as expected after a little tinkering. Let me know if you have any further issues. Email me at joseph.collier8@gmaildotcom if you can't login to message or post about it.
Thanks for using the forum and apologies for any inconvenience.

In Safari it still doesn't work. BTW... the cookies are under privacy.

Got to work. You need to delete your cookie for this site, then edit your bookmark, for this site by adding and "S" to "http".

I'm still having issues. Cleared cookies and everything (yet another new install of Windows 10 ). Log in under https://, and any link I clicks sends me to http://. Upon returning I'm logged back out of https:// and http://.
