Hey everyone...new here and have a question. I'm looking at purchasing a service trailer that has a Miller trailblazer 1J on it. It's a 1969 model and seems to function fine. I can't find any info and wanted to see if anyone knew what it's worth.

Impossible to put a value on a machine that old. Its only worth anything if you are willing to pay for it. Me, I wouldn't pay any extra money for it even though it may currently work, because it could stop working at any time, and there will be little you can do to repair it if a critical component fails.

Essentially you could "replace" it with a portable generator and a buzz box for under $2,000 and get warranties. There are plenty of used Trailblazers on Craigslist and other Used Equipment forums around the country. You might give those a look if you need something and not place too much reliance on that older machine. They were great in their day, but so was I ;)

Personally if it runs good and appears to weld good. I’d be maxed out at $700. Usd
I have more questions than answers
