Hey Folks,

Long time fan of Welding Tips and Tricks.com and Jodi's awesome skills as both a welder and an instructor. My latest project is shown below. I had to fab up a mounting bracket to attach the HV-12 Flathead engine to my HD turnover stand, for it's rebuild. Nothing fancy just welded up some 1/2 plate steel. I had to design something to mount the engine by the exhaust ports because trying to mount it conventionally from the bellhousing wouldn't work because these old flattys only had a 1/2 bellhousing that's cast as part of the block, and with all that weight hanging on it fracture failure was sure to render it as scrap.
Next thing I need to learn is how to do some cast iron welding as there are some intake manifold mounting bosses on the block that need repair.
