Hi, I'm Brian. I'm a fitter/welder, in the past on pipe work in sugar factories and heavy fabrication, but now mainly agricultural and construction machinery repair and some dairy pipe work. Been under the bucket on and off for over 35 years, on smaw, TIG, O/A, and gnaw when I can't avoid it. I'm here to pick a few more tips up.

Welcome!

You've come to the right place... There's very few questions I've seen where someone here doesn't have experience in it. You'll even find some of us have heavy industrial construction in our backgrounds.

That's one of the beauties of welding, however long you've been at it, there's always something new to learn. I've hardly had two jobs the same, and if I have I've nearly always tried something different the second time.
