I'm here to get some feedback and helpful tricks from more experienced welders. I like SMAW mostly because I'm better at it than anything else. I LOVE to tig but I've found it to be very frustrating at times. I only mig when I don't have time to set and actually WELD. :)

Hey,

The first tip i could give you is dont bash mig too much. I can do xray quality with it, and the manufacturing industries are held together by skilled mig welders. A quality mig welder is as good of a tool as any in your arsenal.

With the technology in today's MIGs you can pretty much do anything with them
