Hello,

I'm currently in school at a local Tech College (that's a tech school gone uppity). Working on stick flat and horizontal right now. Then on to vertical and overhead, then MIG, and finally TIG and advanced TIG. Not sure where I want to go with my career, however I am leaning more toward TIG and aeronautics work, or fabricating. Two completely different directions I know.

You can do high end fabricating and tig work, but won't be able to do much "fabricating" in aeronautics. It's very satisfying in both. I've worked in both, and enjoyed both. There's a lot of ways to make a living in this industry, take whatever experience you can get after school and start honing

Phoenix,
Welcome to the family! Sounds like you have some arc time in your future. Done worry so much over your path, I have been doing this for 8 years and still don't know at times what direction I want to go in.
