heya Mike and hello there Motox,

I am in South Jersey. right now my welding is used for the more structural part of my art and th ebrazing and silver soldering is what is mostly seen. But once i get my issues situated with my arc welder, Ill be working on new designs using stainless rods, then i can avoid using the costly 56% silver rods haha.

I had an issue but..i think its addressed now thanks to the forum already =)

my welder was starving through 125 feet of 12ga wire.

im on a 220 line now but i cant plug in my welder to test because im waiting for the 220 to 110 20 amp adaptor to arrive, then my 80 amp DC stick welder will rock, and rock correctly haha.

i actually noticed the rod was starving when i tried using stainless rods. The 6011 carbon rods burned fine, and fooled me into thinking the needed power was reaching the welder.

ill know for certain when i get the adaptor in the mail now. first ill try a 3/32 rod because i was NEVER able to get them to burn...if they burn now...i know im home free
