Hi I am new here and thought I'd say gday.I've been watching Jodys videos flat out. I am a hobby welder and have just started playing around with a TIG since I bought an Italian made Helvi 220 compact tig. They are a new product distributed by Snap On tools. I enjoy learning at the moment. I'm waiting on a pedal control and a smaller torch for it as it came with a big 26. Anyone else had any experience with this welder. It seems like a good machine and a boiley mate from work who taught me the basics says it's a pretty good machine although a little overpriced but was the only way I could get into a decent machine like this as I can pay it off.

Welcome Mozz, there's a number of guys from down under on the board, maybe one of them has some experience with that machine.
