I have been welding in one form or another for about 20 years now.... First as a jeweler on the micro side of things, and now as a machinist doing build ups and making fixtures. Thrown in the middle was general welding, fixing broken stuff, all the stuff that gets thrown in your lap when you admit to knowing the basics of welding.
Thanks mainly to the You Tube videos by Welding tips and Tricks I decided to embark on scratch start tig. Ouch! Steep learning curve, but very satisfying. I have even made some welds I am proud of. Perhaps I will show and tell in the future.
