Welding Tips and Tricks

Hi, I wanted to say thanks to the "Tips and Tricks" community - great videos, podcast and regular human beings - a rarity in today's world.

I learned to weld at night school in the UK - Stick (MMA as it was back then) and Oxy/Acetylene. Not ever very proficient though, but managed to stick things together without dire consequences. 30+ years later as I start to look for a way to wind down a bit in my day job, I'm returning to fabrication. Took myself off to Lincoln for a weeks TIG course and am amazed by the possibilities.

Looking forward to learning as much as my addled brain will soak up.

This is the best place on the internet for the kind of questions you'll likely have. There are no egos here to bash your attempts, only people who are serious about welding and doing it better. (You'll find other subjects and the occasional thread-jack that show we're not serious about much else... )
