New member from Mississippi

Howdy, I’m a new member from Central MS. I’ve stick welded in the past (many years back) but received a HF 125 FCAW for Christmas last year. I’m just now getting time to use it and I feel like a kid with a new toy. I have no plans to do any “structural welding” but maybe some crafts and hobby welding.
I am a hobbyist by birth and genetics; leather work, smoking/grilling, hunter, fisherman, old cowboy, pistol shooter, wood crafter, hobby farmer. Basically a Renaissance Man because I feel like I’ve done it all. My college education is in CADD. I’m pretty capable of envisioning what I want to make and can also produce the shop drawings.
I want to say thanks in advance for all of you that have previously posted your tips and tricks which I will be reading in the near future.
