Like many before me, I have been lurking for several years, watching Jody make it all look easy. That has gotten me up over the first step of the learning curve. When I was standing there with my Ebay welder wondering: "How far should I hold the rod off the metal?" (arc length), It is really helpful to see a Good video.

Thanks so much, and I'll be here now, asking dumb questions and trying to contribute.

Welcome,

I've never heard what I thought was a dumb question.

However, that's not stopped me from giving the occasional "dumb answer"
