Hello all, new to the forum.. Haven't even gotten the chance to browse yet. I look forward to reading all the information available to me, and learning whatever skills, tips, and tricks possibly acquirable.
I'm 24 years old, with a broad background in high performance automotive. I own a 1986 mustang gt with to those that understand, a 9:0:1 dart 363 stroker, Callie's forged internals, with J&E pistons. It's topped with AFR Renegade 225s, and has a csu 850cfm blow through carb on top of a victor jr intake. Fuel is supplied by a aeromotive a1000 fuel pump, and regulated with their 132-02 boost regulator. Induction is fed by a CG fabrications hot parts kit, with a Borg Warner s480 fitted with a billet 92mm compressor wheel. I drive it when I can and it sees' the track a bit as well. Makes 768rwhp at 21psi on c16 and just shy of 650 on 93 octane.
I am currently in a vocational welding program, and moving into taking AWS D1.1 practice tests, before actually sending a work piece out for the real bend test. I will them be moving into GTAW, then into GMAW, and FCAW from there. We will also be learning on pipe, with the opportunity to certify in that if possible. I have already progressed trough oxy-acetylene welding, and torch brazing. And look forward to the rest of the program, and hopefully my future career as a welder of more than one skill set.
In closing, I would like to extend a thank you to the creators in advance, for providing a place for people like myself, or those just looking to brush up on stuff, to come and get what they need.
Have a good day,
-William
