I just got a new job welding, after being out of the game for over 10 years. My first full time job was as a welder when I was 18, till I was 22. I have no formal training, just learned on the job mig welding.

I'm finding it tough to settle back into as I've been out of the loop for so long. I'm working for a place that makes farm machinery parts, and I'm nowhere near what they need in terms of welder. I need some serious practice!

But all the same its good to be back :)

welcome to the forum :D
Just a couple welders and a couple of big hammers and torches.

Men in dirty jeans built this country, while men in clean suits have destroyed it.

Welcome!

If there's any way we can help, just ask. That's what we're about.
