I am very new to welding, bought a stick welder a year or so ago and just started screwing around with it. I am an auto mechanic by trade and have been interested in welding for a while. I wanted to take a class to get the basics but the only ones I could find locally were full programs that weren't feasible. It's been fun so far, though my technical knowledge of welding is still lacking I've been able to start to get a feel for it. Mostly I make creatures and furniture out of scrap from work.
