Hello to all. Been following for a while and decided to join in. I've been welding in a rock quarry for going on fourteen years. I also got my mobile rig set up in 2012 and have been welding nights and weekends whenever someone decides to tear something up. Learn something new every time I visit this site.

Welcome, bdecker,

I have to ask, what rod do you use to weld those rocks?

Seriously, though, 14 years welding that heavy equipment, plus your side work, gives you experience you can share with others here.

Aren't rocks really hard to get a good ground on?

Welcome to our little corner of the internet bdecker.
Go break something, then you can weld it back the right way.

Most of the rocks around here come with ground already on them...
