Hi My name is Lynn, I started learning to weld when I was about 14 or so around 1954. I have been a welder fabricator for most of my working life, mostly stick and wire feed on steel, and some stainless.
I just bought a Thermal Arc 186, so I can learn how to TIG weld aluminum..... still learning...
Hopefully this Old Dog can learn some new tricks......

Welcome, Lynn,

If my math is right, that makes you 74ish.

Never too old. I learned new tricks working a powerplant job next to a 75 year old, and the two of us rocked! Made top-out pay in two months, and the boss shut everyone else down and made them watch us for two hours, so they could see how it's done.

Glad to have you in the neighborhood.

Welcome Lynn. Good to have you here. I think as long as the desire is there, one can keep learning as long as they want. :D
