Miller Sync 250 Tig
Miller 180 Mig
Hypertherm Powermax 85 on a home build CNC table
Cadillac 14" lathe
Deckel FP1 mill
Kent surface grinder
Home built fab table

kazlx,
The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem, and just like most other meetings it's easier to personalize our responses if you give us your first name.
You'll find many others here with a tool problem just like yours, so you're not alone. You'll find that frequenting this site may actually cause your addiction to worsten, so be warned.
Nice job on the home built equipment and at some point you can add some detail to help someone else build their own shop equipment, we're always open to that sort of thing.
Any question you might have will usually be answered with a well researched answer, along with some good natured ribbing now and again. Your post will get highjacked on occasion, but if you need us to stay on track speak up.
Welcome to the neighborhood.
Len

Greetings, salutations and welcome! I just took over a welding program at a community college, which has been in deep decline! You have better equipment and more of it than we do! LOL! Welcome!

Welcome. I think with a tool problem, the best one can do is learn to live with it.
Cheers.

Does anyone really have a tool problem, other than not having enough? Is the real problem ... space ???

The space problem is an illusion...
A correllary to Murphys law states, "The same crap that completely fills a one-car garage will equally fill a two-car garage."

Do you guys actually put cars in the garage? You couldn't stand a Fiat 500 in my garage on it's bumper.
I'm hanging stuff from the rafters at this point. I'm like a crow, if it's shiney, I have to pick it up and take it back to the nest. I've even entertained the thought of making appliances with a peaked top on them so they don't collect junk on top.

True, even eons ago as an accountant and auditor, we could easily fill every square inch of horizontal surfaces with work papers.... As for my tools, I think I have too many for the two car garage... garage is full and some are in the house! Haven't been able to park a car in the garage since 1990!
BTW, I need room to park 3-Porsches ('65,'67,'08), '68 GTO, '95 STS and '99 Jeep Cherokee!

Glen,
I will take a Porsche or two and the GTO. Won't charge you a dime either.

You'll have to wait in line.... I think our Government is trying to be first in line for all our assets!
