I'm new here, new to welding with a new welder. I'll be outside with 110v when it stops raining. Hope I'm not too old to figure out what questions need to be asked.

Hello back to ya. To old? I'm 43 and the older I get the more I realize that the answer I just got I already knew but forgot. Sucks getting old!

Thanks. I almost remember being 43, but that was nearly 30 years ago. I often feel like I've forgotten more than I knew.

Welcome to the forum ! Have patience, there is a learning curve so don't get discouraged if you make a lot of messes in the beginning. Watch a lot of Jody's video's several times. His "3 basic things" is very good , but remember that it takes seat time to implement what he is showing in the video's . Make sure you've got good ventilation and a fire extinguisher handy. Have fun and good luck !
