Beginner

Hello all,
I am a beginner welder. I work for a research company that does research for jet engines. Recently I was given the opportunity to get certified on 6G TIG in one of our local colleges. Prior to do this class I had very little experience with welding mainly with a Lincoln MIG machine. In the last eight months I have learned a lot about welding carbon steel with stainless steel filler rod. My goal is to continue to build upon what I have learned and I hope to get better understanding of all the different alloys and welding practices from you all.
