Hi there.
Living in Sydney Australia, full time boilermaker and do a fair amount of welding - principally MIG. Most guys do bare wire now, but have had considerable time on flux cored, aluminium, stainless, manganese and bisalloy (usually joining both). Involves heaps of carbon arc gouging here too.
Cut my teeth on oxy welding and sticks, am currently with a company that is helping me to learn TIG, which is something I've been wanting to do for a while, but it is pretty difficult at times getting into the tech. colleges for a course and not too cheap either. Cheaper path here, with plenty of mentoring thrown in as well....
Winning deal all around!
