I bought a Hypertherm Powercut 45 last Dec & finally used it today to cut some 2.5 x 2.5 x 3/8 angled iron. WOW!! Smooth and fast. Looks like the Milwaukee grinders will used only for grinding using flap and grinding discs.
Here are a couple of pics.
Sorry about the pics. I'll use the camera in stead of the cell phone.

I bought one back in February and now can't imagine how I lived without it!
If you really want to put a smile on your face, try it on some 3/4" or 1" steel.

Just a couple welders and a couple of big hammers and torches.

They are nice!!! I just connected my Powermax 45 to give it a try (sitting here for a week) and I'm amazed at the machine... woohoo! , but I will really need some practice... lots!! Oh how nice it would be to make a CNC table for it

Not only am I impressed with the machine, Hypertherm's customer service is second to none. Shortly after I got mine, the mode toggle switch would not stay in the gouge position. I called Hypertherm at 8am and by 10am the next day, a new switch had arrived!

Hypertherm has great service mate....
Cant go wrong with them.
I'm debating a PM 65, or the comparable ESAB model.
