Hi guys, I'm wondering if anyone knows of an affordable NC 2 axis table on the market. Something of this sort would be great coupled with a plasma cutter. I know there are big commercial rigs, but hobbyists ought to be able to dabble in this as well. Thanks.

I have been looking at a product called burntables. They have some very nice tables. Here is a video of their tracer set up that is standard on all tables. It actually traces an existing piece then copies it on the metal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNR7YekvBao
It's always best to build your own, especially when it comes to hitches!!!

There's affordable, then there's really affordable...
The software is free. http://www.linuxcnc.org/
The forum support is outstanding. http://www.linuxcnc.org/index.php/engli ... c-machines
It might appear overwhelming, but when you have more time than money, it's something to consider.
