Any advise for miters on tube?

I'm working on my latest motorcycle project, and I'm trying to make some 2:1 exhaust headers with 1.5" OD 16ga steel tube. My problem comes when laying out the miter cuts to merge the two header pipes. I just cant seem to get it right for a good fit up to tig. Any advise on laying out tubing to mark and cut the miters?

An inspiration pic..

Hi - in terms of neat cutting I use a Rotabroach cutter mounted in a mill when possible - but the link below allows you to print off a wrap around paper template - once you sort out getting the scale right when printing it's quite useful & works well - hope this helps .

Good to have you.

Ps. those "JDsquared" units look really nice, although I haven't used one.
Might look them up on youtube
