Just bought a miller plasma cutter a 20 gallon Ingersoll Rand air compressor just looking for some tips on settings and if I have enough electrical amps for the plasma cutter. The electrician put in a 20 amp fuse. When I'm cutting it seems to keep throwing the fuse so have to stop and start over any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you

You running it on a 115v outlet with a 20amp fuse??
A good friend of mine, AKmud, has the same machine, I'll see if he'll chime in.

Based on the specs for your machine, 20 amps at 115v will limit you.

I think I just figured it out. I had my settings set wrong on the plasma cutter. I had the PSI set to high so I turned it down and now it seems to be cutting like cutting through butter.
Thanks again

Nice!
What air pressure where you running?

I have the same trouble. I am running my machine on 115v right now and it calls for about 80 psi but I am lucky to get it to cut on 60. I am running around 40 psi and it cuts awesome. I have no trouble with it. When I ran it at a higher psi, when the compressor would kick on, and since the machine and compressor are on the same circuit, my cuts would sputter and wouldn't cut. I turned it down and now it will cut even with the compressor on. It takes a little bit of tuning and tweeking to get one set right but once you find the sweet spot they are amazing.
It's always best to build your own, especially when it comes to hitches!!!
