Neck knives

Whacked some neck knives out of a .050 thick bandsaw blade today also. These sharpen up like a mad womans tongue. I use a water table on my CNC so heat is not a problem. No heat treating needed on these as long as you don't get them hot while sharpening.

Hobby making knives. I make very few anymore but made custom Damascus blades for many years. Cut these out for a lark mostly. Here is a pic of one of the last Damascus steel blades I made.

Those look real handy! I made one with a similar design in 1084 and G10 for a trade recently.

The left overs from cutting (the skeleton) goes out the back door onto the top of the scrap pile which is getting tall enough that I need to start another pile!
