Plate certification test

I am having issues with overhead i cant figure out how to put the root in should I drag it or whip and pause

You mentioned "whip and pause", so I assume this is a stick test, 6010 root?

1/8 land 1/8 gap at about 85-90 amps 6010

I like a 1/16 land and gap around 77 amps but i don't get that often. Learn what you like first and then learn to deal with what you are given.
