I am very pleased with the little 211. I have access to all the big boy welders at work but wanted a welder for home so the 211 was my choice. I was happy with the way it welded a 3/8 bevel. Yeah I know junky tacs but it was late and I wanted a bit of a test before I called it a night.

Yes it is seems to weld nice I still have to get used to .030 wire. I am finding the whip is a little different then I am used to. You have to really stay on the leading edge. More a thing with the wire then the machine. But it is very nice to do tubing with. I know it is not a big boy welder like a xmt but I am really happy with it.

Awesome! I'm glad you like it. I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on one myself. I cannot find anyone who's done a review of this machine on Aluminum. I plan on building mini jet boats, which are 1/4 bottom and 3/16 sides. It should be able to do this job like butter, but a review would be nice. The new spoolmate 150 gun looks very nice as well.

Looks like a nice unit, just be sure to take note of its duty cycle...150 A at 21.5 VDC, 40% duty cycle (240V) using 110V would not be impressive except for very thin materialsjohnnyFbomb wrote:Awesome! It does have its limits. Really the 110 for me is to be able to do repairs at the neibours in the kennel runs etc. I also picked up a 150 stl if the 211 is not up to the task the 150 stl will 7018 all I'll need to do
